PlaySnake.co is designed to be playable without an account, without a download, and with as little personal information as practical.

Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how PlaySnake.co handles information when you visit the site, play the browser Snake game, read our Google Snake Game guides, use localized landing pages, or contact us for support. It applies only to PlaySnake.co pages and files served from the playsnake.co domain.

This policy does not cover websites we link to, browser extensions you may use, your internet provider, your device manufacturer, or third-party services that are outside our control. If you leave PlaySnake.co through a link, the other site is responsible for its own privacy practices.

Local storage is a browser feature that lets a website remember simple values on your device. For example, your best score in Safari may not match your best score in Chrome, and your phone may have a different saved score than your laptop. If you clear site data, use private browsing, reset your browser, or change devices, your locally saved score and preferences may disappear.

We may need to keep limited records where required for security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, or legal reasons.

Children and General Audience Use

PlaySnake.co is a general-audience browser game and guide site. It does not knowingly request personal information from children, does not ask children to create accounts, and does not require personal details to play. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent personal information by email, they can contact us so we can review and respond appropriately.

Parents, guardians, and educators may want to supervise browser use, especially when children use email or browse beyond PlaySnake.co through external links. The game itself is designed to work without collecting a child's name, profile, school, payment details, or location.

International Visitors

PlaySnake.co can be visited from different countries and includes localized pages for several languages. If you access the site from outside the place where our hosting, email, or infrastructure providers operate, technical information may be processed in another country. By using the site, you understand that normal web delivery can involve cross-border infrastructure.

We try to keep the data footprint small so international use remains straightforward: no account database, no required profile, no payment form, and no required user submission to play.

Security and Data Retention

No website can promise perfect security, but PlaySnake.co is built to reduce privacy risk by limiting what the site asks from you. Local game data remains in your browser unless you clear it. PlaySnake.co is independent and is not affiliated with Google. References to Google Snake Game are used to describe the familiar style of Snake gameplay that many players search for. They do not mean that PlaySnake.co is operated, endorsed, or controlled by Google.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the site changes, when new features are added, when privacy practices change, or when clearer explanations are needed. The effective date and last updated date near the top of this page show when the policy was most recently revised.

If a future change materially affects how personal information is handled, the policy should be updated in a way that makes the new practice understandable. For example, adding accounts, analytics, ads, a leaderboard, comments, or embedded third-party services would require a clearer explanation than a minor wording edit.
